This is a list of the following brands sold at sunglass hut and why you SHOULD buy them at ANOTHER RETAILER.The reason Sunglass Hut has so many brands is because their manufacturer Luxottica (also referred to as Suxottica) is buying out all the brands and distributing them in Sunglass Hut. By doing this, Luxottica produces the same quality sunglasses under different brand names.
E.g: Bvlgari sunglasses used to mean high quality but now there is no different in quality between a pair of Bvlgari sunglasses and a pair of Vogue sunglasses, as they are all manufactured under the same company.
The only difference is the image that the company portrays of each brand, thus making you pay $700 for a pair of crystal embellished Bvlgari sunglasses and oly $150 for a pair of Vogue sunglasses. Either way, your being ripped off.
Owning a pair of designer sunglasses used to mean being able to have a unique pair of sunglasses that no one else owns, but today, Sunglass Hut has made brands such as Prada come across as cheap due to the massive over-production of each style. Everywhere you turn, someone else is wearing the exact same sunglasses as you! Like the Prada model seen in the picture.

I have to STRONGLY disagree. I own many luxury brand glasses as well as low priced. There is a huge differance in the quality of lens, cratmanship and over all quality. Upon further research the brands you listed above are not ALL owned by luxottica. also as a sunglass hut loyal customer you should know that they have the BEST return policy and warrenty! Many of the brands above are also sold at other retailers are you saying not to buy any of them????
ReplyDeleteI noticed there arent many posts in here especially nothing after jan 2010. Dont generalize your refund bad experience and start a whole blog blaming sunglass hut. I agree that designer glasses have to be unique so that you dont see everyone wearing one of those. But face it everyone wants to dress well not just celebs.
ReplyDeleteYour blog clearly states that sunglasshut sells actual branded items and not the fake ones so they are genuine. If you want to buy unique ones you should custom order them I guess. Anyway I am planning to buy a designer glass myself so researching a bit where to buy I might end up buying at sunglasshut itself who knows? My current options are nordstrom, neiman marcaus etc.
You need to learn what the difference is between licensing agreements and ownership. The difference in materials used to manufacture sunglasses. The difference in Swarovski crystal, and glass. You are a unintelligent, uneducated and an absolutely annoying moron.
